8 weeks old

Noah is 8 weeks old today! He was having some tummy time earlier, which he hasn't liked that much lately, and he lifted his whole upper body up and smiled! It was awesome : ) I quickly ran and got the camera and actually got a good picture!

Starting the first week in November I will be babysitting 2 days a week for a little girl a month older then Noah. They are about the same size though. I think Noah may be a little bigger than her! I am really excited that Noah will be able to come with me. It will be fun to have him around another baby his age and it will be nice to get out of the house (and make some money too). I will have to get back into taking care of more than one baby at a time but its not like I haven't done it before!

Noah goes Monday for his 2 month check up already! Hopefully he will do alright with all the shots he is getting. Luckily Rick is off Mondays so he gets to come and be around for the day after!

Mommy's 6 week check up

This morning I had my 6 week check up! I was surprised by how much weight I have lost already. I wasn't sure exactly how much weight I had gained while I was pregnant so I had them look back at my first prenatal appointment and then my last and figure it out. I gained around 43 pounds! I have already lost 31! I was happy about that : )

It is crazy how fast the time is going. In two weeks Noah will already be 2 months old! He is all ready for Halloween and is going to be a penguin! You will have to wait until Halloween to see how cute he looks in his costume!

6 weeks old

Noah is 6 weeks old today! Here is a picture of him napping : ) He usually sleeps for 2-3 hours in the afternoon. We usually sleep in until 11 or so in the morning so he stays up for a while once we finally get out of bed!

He seems to get bigger every day and I already had to put away a bunch of clothes that got too small on him. He is fitting into his 3-6 month clothes already!

Today was our first anniversary! The past year definitely went by fast. We took this picture this morning and I think it came out pretty good! It's such a nice family photo, even Abby got in the picture : ) Noah visited with his Nonny and Grand-dad and Aunt Anna and cousin Riley this afternoon while mommy and daddy went to the outlet mall and to dinner. We missed Noah very much but he got lots and lots of attention and love while we were gone!
